Our next night will be on the 22nd October 2016. It takes place at a new venue in the shape of Camden’s The Constitution.
Taking our cue from John Peel’s 1976 Punk Special we will be playing punk/post-punk classics, rarities and jawdroppers from the 70’s to the present day as part of punk in London’s 40th anniversary.
It’s free as ever starting at 8pm. Note that the venue has extended opening hours to 1am.
Expect to hear the likes of The Sex Pistols, The New York Dolls, Richard Hell, The Saints, The Buzzcocks, 999, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Ruts, The Clash, The Undertones,Blondie, Talking Heads, The Damned, Joy Division, The Fall, Stiff Little Fingers, Television and many more!
If you are on Facebook the event page can be found here.
We hope to see you there!

There are two more mixcloud mixes for you today. The first one is from our Records I Like blog and features new musical discoveries. It includes tracks from The Close Lobsters, The Crystal Furs, Useless Youth, Young Scum, The Fireworks, The Wolfhounds, Cosines, Brunch Club and Milkmustache.
The second mix High Road Hooligan which is the Mixcloud guise of Culture Bunker DJ Rob.
A pithy compilation from the UK in the 70s and early 80s naïve and not so naïve tales of anger, heartache and kitchen sink dramas, vignettes of petty villainy, unrequited love, acting hard, teenage pregnancy and provincial town life on the dole. Lustful homages to girlie mag starlets, mosh pits and the Hawaii five-0, articulated in three chord blasts by suburban and small town guitar combos.
It features tracks from The Zips, The Perfectors, Quality Drivel, Radio Birdman, Urban Disturbance and more.
It’s the 40th anniversary of punk. On December 10th 1976 John Peel presented a show that included the first ever session by The Damned as well as exploring the roots of punk and playing some recent (well in 1976!) tunes. It’s now known as The Punk Rock Special. Whilst we try and stay true to Peelie’s selection we also add some of our own additions and mix the playlist up a bit. Enjoy!
Hi all. We are working hard on finding a decent venue for our next night. Sadly The College Arms couldn’t keep up with our development and we are actively searching for new one at present so if anyone has suggestions for a venue in London town or North/East London which doesn’t require you to belong to a clique/click club then please let us know. We have some great ideas for our next nights so keep them (John) peeled….
In the meantime here is a freshly uploaded podcast from our sister blog “Records I Like” for you to enjoy.
Our first mix of 2016. Enjoy!
We are pleased to say we will be dj’ing throughout the day at the Dufflecoat Records All Dayer on 14th November 2015 in London. It’s a cracking line up. More details can be found here.
We have posted our latest podcast on Mixcloud. This is a taster for our night on the 8th August.
